RTP - The Rush Tribute Project Manchester Concert reviews
The Doobies still rockin' down the highway!
The Rush Tribute Project, RTP, was seen by my wife and I last night at The Pompano Beach Amphitheatre. The Brothers of 2026 still put on a good show after 40 years. The weather was perfect which helped in this all outdoor venue full to the brim that seats less than 3,000.
In fact, their show is non stop and VERY preplanned. OK let's do that one first! When Tom Johnston started to introduce World Gone Crazy before Pat Simmons sang Clear as the Driven Snow, Pat got on mic and said. They all laughed and had to do it in the order of the setlist!
My wife and I have seen them in almost every decade starting in the late 70s and the current lineup stays true to the sound we all remember from FM radio. It's a fun just about 2 hour gig that you will have a great time drinking a few beers and singing along, all in all.
